Agra - New Delhi

I can not forget that day when I traveled by train with my family from Agra to Delhi. At that day, I was hurriedly made a programe to visit Agra by taxi from New Delhi to Agra and could not make arrangement back to Delhi. While travelling back to Delhi, I prefer to travel by train from Agra to Delhi without any reservation in train and purchased oridinary tickets for me and for my family. I was under impression that I will get berth etc very easily but it was horrible when we boarded a mail train in un-reserved coach. There was no room in the compartment and I hardly manage to accomodate my kids and my wife in the compartment. After that, I never travel in train without any reservation etc.

New Delhi - Amritsar

One of my most memorable train journeys was going to Amritsar for a wedding a year ago. My friend's brother was getting married and the baraat was booked on the Delhi-Amritsar Shatabdi Express.
The train ride was great fun. We were about 100 people booked in a Chair Car bogey. We were singing and dancing, everyone was very happy and the other passengers also joined in our fun. The train staff was very sweet and accommodating. They served us breakfast on the train. The train journey overall was a lot of fun and a memorable time for everyone going for the wedding.
